Wizard Mid-Ohio Comic Con 2011

Last year, convention, Mid-Ohio-Con, celebrated its 30th anniversary. Mid-Ohio-Con is one of America’s longest-running and most successful comic book and pop-culture conventions, carrying on a fun and family-oriented tradition of bringing fans of all ages together with leading comic book writers and artists, film and television stars and creators, and publishers and retailers from across the nation.The independent show was acquired by Wizard World conventions.

Wizard World (WIZD.PK) Mid-Ohio Comic Con announced its huge programming schedule, featuring unique celebrity Q&A's, film screenings and discussions, artist schools, contests and more for the event, set for Saturday and Sunday, October 22-23 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Featuring Special Guest including Spike (James Masters of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer), Lando Carlrissian (Billy Dee Williams of Stars Wars), the original Batman & Robin (Adam West and Burt Ward), and Starfleet officer Pavel Chekov (Walter Koenig of Star Trek: TOS).
Wizard World produces Comic Cons and pop culture conventions across North America that celebrate graphic novels, comic books, movies, TV shows, gaming, technology, toys and social networking. The events often feature celebrities from movies and TV, artists and writers, and events such as premieres, gaming tournaments, panels, and costume contests. Wizard World also produces Wizard World Digital, an online publication covering new and upcoming products and talents in the pop culture world.
