2012 Mohican Winter Fest - Ice Sculpting

Mohican Winter Fest is now running his 7th year. Among the many activities offered at the Mohican WinterFest are ice carving demonstrations, speed carving competitions, ice skating and horse-drawn carriage rides, all of which are free.
This year, Olympic Ice Sculptor Aaron Costic from Elegant Ice Creations in Broadview Heights brings his team and their impressive talents to the Winter Fest in Mohican in Ashland County. Blocks of ice, some of them hundreds of pounds, are chizzled and shaped with great detail into animals and objects. Businesses and organizations throughout the downtown area have purchased the ice sculptures which will be on display for visitors.



Hours are January 13, 4 – 8 p.m. and January 14, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. 2012. Most of the events of WinterFest will be occurring at Central Park. Admission to the Mohican Winter Fest is free.Parking is also free. Central Park is located at West Main Street and North Market Street in Loudonville, Ohio
The Ice Sculptures are in Central Park and all over W Main Street.
